We usually refer to the gases containing pollutants emitted by various industrial production and related processes as industrial waste gas. These include gases emitted directly from materials in production equipment through chemical, physical and biological chemical process, and gases containing pollutants emitted from indirect fuel combustion, material storage, loading and unloading operations related to production processes.
There are various types of pollutants in industrial waste gas. According to its existing state, it can be divided into two categories. One is gaseous matter, and the other is particulate matter that forms aerosols in the gas. In many cases, exhaust gas contains both gaseous pollutants and particulate matter, such as fuel combustion exhaust gas.
Gaseous pollutants can be chemically divided into two categories: organic pollutants and inorganic pollutants. Organic pollutants mainly include various hydrocarbons, alcohols, aldehydes, acids, ketones, and amines.; Inorganic polluting gases mainly include sulfur oxides, nitrogen oxides, carbon oxides, halogens, and their compounds. Gaseous pollutants can also be divided into combustible gases and non combustible gases; Water soluble gases, insoluble gases, radioactive gases, non radioactive gases, etc.
The components of organic waste gas mainly include formaldehyde, benzene, benzene series, methyl ethyl ketone, ethyl acetate, oil, furfural, styrene, acrylic acid, resin, additives, paint mist, and some hydrocarbon containing organic gases.
The waste gas treatment processes include: zeolite rotary process, regenerative thermal oxidation RTO, regenerative catalytic oxidation RCO, UV photooxygen activated carbon adsorption, biological deodorization process, condensation recovery process, etc. However, due to investment budget and treatment efficiency issues, the commonly used results are regenerative catalytic oxidation RCO and UV photooxygen activated carbon adsorption.
Inorganic waste gas is also known as acid alkali waste gas. The commonly used inorganic waste gas treatment technology: acid-base neutralization washing method, with the exception of a few special acid-base waste gas components, most treatments are relatively simple.
Different treatment processes are selected for different exhaust gas components. At this point, it is necessary to choose an appropriate treatment plan based on comprehensive factors such as exhaust gas composition, exhaust emissions, production process and facility layout, and treatment costs.
